Acton Training Centre is a training company offering training in ICT and Basic Skills. Established in 1997, we have built our reputation on quality learning with emphasis on the learner. All training programmes are accredited to national standards. Learners can enrol for a variety of qualifications, including NVQs, ECDL and City & Guilds. There is also a choice of over 800 Learndirect courses. We are helping business organizations within West London to up-skill their staff in IT and Basic Skills. Improving languages, literacy and numeracy skills are recognised as key elements in moving unemployed people into work. Our friendly multi-cultural tutors and administrators are able to converse in many languages to help the learner overcome barriers to learning. Businesses or organisations that need to run their own training programmes or workshops may hire our computer or training rooms.

Computer Training

The training centre in West London is equipped with 80 high specification multimedia PC workstations situated in 4 classrooms on the first and second floors. All classrooms are equipped with:

• Multimedia Projection System
• 21MB High Speed ADSL traffic via a central route
• Low radiation, high specification, adjustable FST monitors on all workstations
• Our own in-house network engineers and students equipped the centre.

 Network Consultancy

Your Network is the key to your connection to the World. Deploying a consistent and robust infrastructure at the local computer level and a shared server resources level and connection to the internet backbone is a serious business. Our Network Team will work with you in order to create a great computer network infrastructure with a wide variety of functions. They will provide hands-on expertise to implement the desired networking infrastructure for your company's needs. We provides expertise in Local Area Networks (LAN's), Network cabling, supply and installation of computer hardware and software, hardware configuration, the setting up of routers, hub and network equipment, trouble-shooting, network administration systems and help-desk support. We provide complete network solutions.

The Centre is also a recognised invigilator for the "International Association of Book-keepers" (IAB) examinations and an Accredited Centre for "The Institute of Certified Book-Keepers". ATC is also a SAGE, PEGASUS and TAS (Computerised Accounts) authorised reseller.

Quality Standards

As an approved provider for government-funded training, Acton Training Centre is inspected by the Government's Adult Learning Inspectorate which confirms that ATC has been meeting their very high standards for delivering quality training. Acton Training Centre is also a BSI ISO9001 approved company for its quality systems. In December 2003 ATC was awarded Investors in People status for its commitment to and investment in the development of its employees.
